I have been coming to Bellissimo for several years. I first encountered them when they were on Airline Dr. The food has always been good and the service was good. I'm sure I will return sometime in the future. This last time I went, we ordered risotto, 2 pasta dishes and a pizza. Risotto was good but it could do without the peas or just a few peas. The strong flavor of the peas overpoweredthe flavor of the risotto. Pasta dishes were very good. Pizza was good but greasy. The waiter we had said he was new and we could definitely tell from the overall service. I asked for parmesan and pepper flakes for the pizza. The waiter did not know how to sprinkle the parmesan or pepper flakes, so instead of a nice even sprinkling of parmesan and pepper flakes, I got huge globs of parmesan and pepper flakes in specific places. Drinks did not get refilled and had to ask for more olive oil for the bread. Hopefully this waiter will quickly catch on or he will not make it. With all that said, as stated before, I would still come back just for the food.

Our first time dining in. We had their catering once before and loved it. Delicious lunch entrees. We had rigatoni with meat sauce and the penne pasta with italian sausage. The tomato bisque in the bread bowl was the star of the show for us. Reasonable pricing. Great atmosphere. Good personal courteous service. We will see you again soon.

This little place started on E 25 Street in the Heights. The owner was the chef of Mia Bella Restaurant before venturing out on his own. I love the food here and the atmosphere. The Lamb Shank and The Veal Cullet’s are excellent as are their steaks. Always go with the Caesar Salad. This hidden gem is worth the try and I promise you’ll want to come back again and again to try their other entries. Give this local business a try and tell a friend… or better yet, bring them with you. You’ll be glad you did!

The food was very delicious, perfect amount of seasoning. We went in on a party and the atmosphere was very cozy, like home. With so much music and liveliness. Our waitress was nice and lovely as well.

It's a real hidden gem. We order take out from Bellissimo all the time, and today we decided to dine in for our marriage anniversary. The food is delicious, service fast and professional. It is Americanized Italian food, so make sure you ask how they make their dishes before ordering something specific. For example, pasta on the photo is their version of carbonara... with mushroom, pease, chicken :) It wasn't on the menu. I asked if they could make it, and this is what I got :D It was very tasty, though! The "thingy" in green pesto is fried breaded artichoke. I wasn't expecting it to be breaded either, but it tasted good.

This restaurant really surprised us. Outside is not attractive, but the food here and the atmosphere are pleasant. It’s a hidden gem in Houston, worth the try, and I promise you’ll want to come back again to try their options, which are unique and delicious. We tried osobuco, 25th street - pizza and pasta, jalapeno pizza, pizza di verdure and tiramisu. Note: Starving and delicious, no time for photos
